Our Mountain Kids Ministry exists to introduce Children to the good news of Jesus and lay a foundation of discipleship. We do this by teaching the Gospel through age appropriate curriculum, The Gospel Project, modeling and encouraging obedience to Jesus’s Commands in the Gospel, cast vision of God’s love for our home and the world, all for the sake of God’s glory in His Kingdom.
Gospel-Centered
There is one truth, one story, one hope that permeates all that we do in Mountain Kids, the Gospel. God’s unfolding plan of salvation for sinners. The Gospel is weaved in to all that we do.
Discipleship-Focused
We aim to lay a strong foundation of discipleship for our MK’s. We do this through breaking the year into four quarters. 1) Bible Memory 2) 7 Commands of Christ 3) Catechism ?’s 4) Mission Focus.
Missionally Minded
We want to cast a vision for the bigness of the World, and God’s love for all peoples. By sharing and praying for different people groups, countries, and cultures we help instill a desire for the proclamation of the Gospel here in Belmont, and around the World.
